Dustin Linville wins Finn Watson Memorial at Richmond

Saturday night the SAS drove north to the Richmond Raceway for the Finn Watson memorial. 22 cars signed in for the 50 lap $7500 to win feature. Dustin Linville and Zach Dohm would be your group A&B quick qualifier's with Linville being the overall quick qualifier. Linville and Dohm were also the 2 heat race winners setting the lineup for the 50 lap feature. Linville and Dohm led the field to green white Linville getting through one and two with lead. Caution would fly on lap 2 when Cameron Marlar had issues exiting the racetrack. Linville would lead the through several cautions for single cars spins. The last caution would fly on lap 11 when Kyle Fogt hit the wall in turn 1. Linville would once again jump out the lead but at the Halfway point Tyler Carpenter would start to mount a challenge for the lead. Tyler would show his nose to Linville but he was able to shut the door each time. On the white flag lap Tyler Carpenter would give Linville a shot in the back going into 1 but Linville was able to hold him off for his first career SAS win and the biggest win of his career.
