The Car and Stars of the Southern All Star Super Late Model Series rolled into the Buckshot for a 40 Lap affair that paid $4000 to the winner. 27 Super Late Models signed in to do battle at the newly built 3/8 mile oval. Joseph Joiner would be your quick qualifier in group A and Josh Putnam was quick qualifier in group B, Joiner was the overall quick qualifier. Cruz Skinner and Bo Slay would take the B Main Wins. Joseph Joiner and Josh Putnam would lead the 24 car starting field to green for 40 laps, Joiner would grabbed the lead on the start and pull away. The caution would fly at Lap 9 when Cruz Skinner caught the wall off of turn 2 ending his night early. After a couple of restarts Joiner was still in command until 6th place runner Daniel Miller blew a motor covering half the track in oil on lap 29. The next restart Joiner was once again able to jump out to the lead and was on his way to victory when the caution would once again fly for a couple of cars getting together in turn 1 and 2. On the restart Joiner would jump out again to a good sized lead and would go on to take his 6th career SAS win and 2nd at Buckshot Speedway. Josh Putnam, Jordan Nipper, Billy Franklin and Dalton Cook would round out the top 5.
