Dixie Nationals Next for Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series on October 11 Paying $10,053 to Win
(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) One of the most historic tracks in the Southeast is set to host the penultimate event of the 2025 Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Franklin Enterprises season on Saturday night, October 11. The Dixie Nationals will take place at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia and a $10,053 payday awaits the winner of the Super Late Model special, which will be co-sanctioned by the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series. Due to rainouts, this will be the ONLY Super Late Model race of the year at the Atlanta-area facility.
The Dixie Nationals will mark the nineteenth round of SAS competition in 2025. So far, fifteen different winners have graced victory lane with the tour in the first eighteen events. Only Cory Hedgecock, Dillon Tidmore, and Tucker Anderson have claimed multiple wins so far this year. Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Ronnie Johnson currently leads the SAS point standings over Michael Luna, Billy Franklin, Kendall Franklin, and Dillon Tidmore, but the points will start to shake up as only the best eighteen finishes for each driver will count in the final point tally.
On Saturday, October 11, the pit gates and the tailgate area will open at 3:00pm, while fans will be allowed into the grandstands starting at 5:00pm. The drivers meeting is set for 6:30pm and racing action will light up the track at 7:00pm. Grandstand tickets are $35.00 for adults, $10.00 for students ages 13-17, and FREE for children ages 12 and under. Tailgate tickets are $35.00 for adults, $10.00 for students ages 6-10, and FREE for children ages 5 and under. Pit passes are $50.00 for adults, $10.00 for students ages 6-10, and FREE for children ages 5 and under.
Joining the Super Late Models on the Dixie Nationals racing card will be the 602 Late Models ($1,200 to win), Open Wheel Modifieds ($1,000 to win), Stingers ($1,000 to win), and 602 Beginners ($500 to win). Capping off the action-packed evening will be a Junkyard Dawg Enduro race paying $2,500 to the winner of a 100-lap contest. Dixie Speedway is located at 150 Dixie Drive in Woodstock, GA 30189. Super Late Model body rules and the Droop Rule will be the same as those agreed on by both the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series - among others. Additional rules including engine and weight rules can be found online at www.sasdirt.com. The entry fee will be $120.00 and transponders will be available to rent. In addition to the feature purse money, drivers competing with the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Franklin Enterprises will also be vying for several bonuses on Saturday at Dixie Speedway.
