Dirt Invasion at Anderson Motor Speedway Next for Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series Competitors
(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) For the second straight year, the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Franklin Enterprises will sanction an event at Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, South Carolina. The 3/8-mile asphalt oval will host the Dirt Invasion program on Friday night, September 19. Headlining the single-day spectacular will be the SAS Super Late Models gunning for a $12,000 winner’s check. Last year, Skip Arp pocketed the $12,000 windfall - in front of a standing room only crowd - ahead of a top five that included runner-up Joey Coulter, Austin Kirkpatrick, Chase Oliver, and Billy Franklin.
Joining the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series on the Dirt Invasion racing card will be the Monster Thunder Bombers ($2,000 to win), Monster Mini Stocks ($2,000 to win), Red Clay 602 Late Model Series ($1,500 to win), and Renegade Sportsmans ($1,000 to win). The pits will open at 2:00pm and the grandstands will start to allow fans into the facility at 4:00pm. Practice will get underway at 6:00pm and the drivers meeting will take place at 7:00pm.
Grandstand admission will be $30.00 for adults, while kids ages 10 and under will be admitted into the stands for FREE. Trackside admission will be $35.00 for adults, while kids ages 10 and under will be admitted into the trackside area for FREE. Pit admission will be $40.00 for adults, $20.00 for kids ages 6-10, and FREE for children ages 5 and under. There will also be a practice session leading into Dirt Invasion on Thursday evening, September 18 to allow drivers and teams the opportunity to get acclimated to the asphalt racing surface. The pits will open at 4:00pm and practice will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Admission to practice will be $25.00 per person. With seventeen events already in the books in 2025, Ronnie Johnson currently leads the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Franklin Enterprises point standings over Michael Luna, Billy Franklin, Kendall Franklin, and Dillon Tidmore. There are currently three races left on the 2025 schedule and the final Championship points will be based on the driver’s best eighteen finishes.
