Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series Set to Invade Wartburg Speedway on Saturday, September 13
(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) For the first time in 2025, the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Franklin Enterprises is set to invade Wartburg Speedway. The Wartburg, Tennessee facility will play host to a $5,000 to win Super Late Model special on Saturday night, September 13. With sixteen races in the books so far this year on the SAS tour, Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Ronnie Johnson currently leads the point standings over Michael Luna, Billy Franklin, Kendall Franklin, and Dillon Tidmore.
The gates will open on Saturday at 4:00pm, the drivers meeting is scheduled for 7:00pm, and hot laps will follow shortly thereafter. Joining the ground-pounding Super Late Models on the racing card at Wartburg Speedway will be the Sportsman ($700 to win), Dwarf ($400 to win), Mod Mini ($400 to win), FWD ($400 to win), Street ($400 to win), and Jr. FWD ($75 to win) divisions.
Grandstand admission will be $20.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids ages 7-12. Tier parking admission will be $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids ages 7-12. Pit passes will be $40.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids ages 7-12. Wartburg Speedway is located at 205 Heidel Road in Wartburg, Tennessee. Super Late Model body rules and the Droop Rule will be the same as those agreed on by both the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series - among others. Additional rules including engine and weight rules can be found online at www.SASDirt.com. The entry fee will be $120.00 and transponders will be available to rent. In addition to the feature purse money, drivers competing with the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Franklin Enterprises will also be vying for several bonuses on Saturday at Wartburg.
