This event honors the memory of former Kentucky racer and former Lake Cumberland Speedway promoter Harold Hardgrove, who owned and operated Lake Cumberland Speedway from 1997 until his untimely death in 2009. Mr. Hardgrove often competed at the track prior to purchasing the facility and beginning his tenure as owner and promoter in 1997. The late Mr. Hardgrove’s son - Brandon Hardgrove - currently operates the track and presents this event now annually in memory of his father.

Super Late Model body rules and the Droop Rule will be the same as those agreed on by both the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series - among others. Additional rules including engine and weight rules can be found online at www.SASDirt.com. The entry fee will be $120.00 and transponders will be available to rent. Any driver not advancing into the feature field will receive $50.00 in tow money. If you can’t make it to the track, don’t miss a lap of the action by watching LIVE on Dirt Rich TV.
