Winger maintains Senoia mastery for $10,000

Staying a perfect 5-for-5 in 2021 starts at Senoia Raceway, Ashton Winger of Hampton, Ga., overtook top-ranked Brandon Overton in the early laps and led the rest of Saturday’s 52-lap Pollard Memorial for a $10,000 payday on the Southern All Star Racing Series. Overton nearly regained the lead from Winger two laps after losing the point, but Winger fought him off and rolles to his second SAS victory in as many nights and seventh of his career.
